On the occasion of the 79th birthday of Emil



MORE OF US EXCEPT THE PHOTOGRAPHER

We ate and ate and ate: the night before, we had Turkish cucumber soup, then homemade pasta with 3 uncooked sauces: tomato, avocado, pesto, a mixed greens salad, and a fatal triple chocolate dessert of sorbet, truffles, and meringues.

The birthday dinner began with oysters

Then a Veggie plate

followed by the lobsters and mussels

 peppers with black, purple, and brown rissoto

The cake, unpictured, was hazelnut meringue layers, with chocolate butter cream. 
Mumm champagne and an old bottle of Chateauneuf du Pape +assorted liqueurs .

What a MESS
